#38: BRAC Blog

The BRAC Blog is a journal of ideas, reflections, and experiences from BRAC’s clients, staff, volunteers, and friends.

With over 100,000 employees reaching an estimated 135 million people, BRAC is the world’s largest non-governmental organisation. Originally the Bangladesh Rehabilitation Assistance Committee and later the Bangladesh Rural Advancement Commitee, it is now formally known in the eleven countries where it works and around the world simply as BRAC.

BRAC’s mission is to empower people and communities in situations of poverty, illiteracy, disease and injustice. Its interventions aim to achieve large-scale, positive change through economic and social programmes that enable women and men to realise their potential.
